A membership is not a plan
A room full of equipment and no idea which of it to touch. Most gyms sell access and call it a service — and then wonder why the January intake is gone by March.
Small-group strength · Capped at 12
Every session is programmed, coached and capped at twelve people. You will know what you are doing, why you are doing it, and whether it is working.
The honest bit
Not because they are lazy. Because nobody told them what to do, nobody checked their form, and nothing measured whether it was working.
A room full of equipment and no idea which of it to touch. Most gyms sell access and call it a service — and then wonder why the January intake is gone by March.
The lift that hurts your back in year two is the one nobody corrected in week one. Coaching is not a premium add-on here, it is the entire product.
If you cannot say what you lifted twelve weeks ago, you cannot know whether any of this worked. We test, write it down and test again.
The timetable
Six days, eighteen coached sessions. Book from the app or turn up — members get a spot if the class is not full.
Your first eight weeks
Scroll through what actually happens.
You train with a coach, twice, at no cost. We watch how you move and you find out whether you like the room. No card, no trial that quietly converts.
We find out what your hips and shoulders actually do, then record baseline numbers. Written down, so in eight weeks there is something to compare against.
You follow a written programme, not whatever the class is doing that day. Load goes up on a schedule. A coach is watching every rep that matters.
Same tests as week one. You see the numbers side by side, we adjust the programme, and the next block starts.
The room
Hard cap. If it is full, it is full — we do not squeeze in a thirteenth.
Every one programmed and supervised. None of them are 'open gym with music'.
All accredited, all coaching on the floor rather than watching from a desk.
Baseline, block, retest. You always know whether it is working.
Membership
No joining fee, no minimum term, no cancellation phone call — you cancel in the app.
$79/month
Access during staffed hours with a coach on the floor if you need one.
$149/month
Every coached session, every week, plus everything in Open Gym.
$219/month
Coached, plus a private session each month for the things a class cannot fix.
Prices shown are monthly and include everything listed. Sample figures for this demo.
The coaches
Head coach · Strength & Olympic
Fifteen years coaching barbell sport. Runs the strength programming and the Saturday barbell club.
Conditioning
Ex-rowing coach. Builds the engine work and insists it should be hard but not stupid.
Conditioning & testing
Runs the testing protocol and the Engine Room sessions. Keeps every member's numbers.
Movement & recovery
Physiotherapy background. Handles the movement screens and anyone coming back from injury.
I had been going to gyms for nine years and could not tell you a single number about my own body. Eight weeks here and I know all of them.
The cap at twelve is the whole thing. A coach actually gets to me every session instead of shouting over forty people.
First place that didn't try to sell me a twelve-month contract in the first five minutes. Two free sessions and they let the room do the talking.
Yes, and about half our members started that way. Strength Basics on Thursday mornings exists for exactly this, and the two free sessions are coached one to one so nobody is thrown into a class cold.
No. Membership is month to month, there is no joining fee, and you cancel in the app without speaking to anyone. We would rather you stayed because it works.
Twelve is a hard cap and we do not add a thirteenth. Booking opens seven days ahead, and if something is consistently full we add another session rather than raising the cap.
No. Bring shoes you can stand up straight in. Everything else is here, including lifting shoes and belts in the common sizes.
Tell us before you book. Sena has a physiotherapy background and does the movement screens — we would rather work alongside your physio than around them.
Yes, up to eight weeks a year, in the app, no charge. Travel and injury happen and charging people for a gym they cannot attend is a way to lose them permanently.
Come in
Tell us when suits and we will pair you with a coach. If it is not for you, you have lost an hour and gained a movement screen.
No card required. No automatic conversion to a paid plan.
