Demos

See the website first.
Decide after.

Most agencies show you a portfolio of other people's businesses and ask you to imagine yours. We build a working site for your industry instead — live, on a real URL, on your phone right now. Open one, time how fast it loads, tap the buttons. Then decide.

Every demo is a real page, not a screenshot

What is inside

The parts you cannot see are the ones that matter

Anyone can make a page look reasonable. These numbers are from the plumbing demo and you can verify every one of them in your browser's network tab right now.

3 Network requests

One stylesheet, one font file, one page. No trackers, no third-party origins, nothing loading from someone else's server.

0 Images and JavaScript

Icons are inline SVG. The FAQ uses native HTML. Nothing to download, nothing to block rendering, nothing to break.

6 KB Of HTML, compressed

The whole page. For comparison, a single unoptimised hero photograph is routinely two hundred times that.

44px Minimum tap target

Every button and link is thumb-sized and spaced so the wrong one is not hit. Checked on the page, not assumed.

Every build, not just the demos

  • Correct input types, so a phone field opens a number pad and autofill works
  • Structured data using the specific schema type for the industry, with every service area named
  • Keyboard navigable end to end, with visible focus and a skip link
  • 16px form inputs, because anything smaller makes iOS zoom the page on focus
  • Respects reduced-motion preferences, and readable at default zoom without horizontal scrolling
  • No page builder, no plugin stack, nothing that rots when a subscription lapses
Questions

Straight answers

Are these real websites or just pictures?

Real pages on real URLs. Open one on your phone, tap the buttons, submit the form, view the source. Nothing is a screenshot or a Figma export, which is exactly why we can point at the load time.

Are the businesses in the demos real?

No, and every demo says so on every screen. The businesses, phone numbers, licence numbers and suburbs are invented — the phone numbers use the 555 range reserved for fiction. The code is real, the company is not.

Can I just have the demo as my website?

More or less, yes. We rebuild it with your business name, your services, your prices and your service areas, and it goes live on your domain. That is a much smaller project than a site designed from nothing, and it is priced accordingly.

What does one cost?

It depends on how far it moves from the demo. We quote a fixed price before starting rather than publishing a number here that would be a guess. If ongoing maintenance is what you actually need, our plans start at $199 a month and are published in full.

Do I own it?

Completely. Your domain, your hosting, your accounts, the source in your repository if you want it. We do not host your site or hold your credentials — leaving means a documented handover, not a migration.

Is this a template you sell to everyone?

Each demo is built for its industry rather than assembled from a theme, and no two share a layout. Yours would be rebuilt from your content, not swapped in over the fictional business — otherwise every client in your industry ends up with the same website.

Why is there no photography?

Because the demos have to load on a phone in a car park and images are almost always what makes that slow. On a real build we absolutely use your photographs, sized and served properly. The demos prove how much can be done before a single image is added.
